Use tools for accurate measurement, you can use high-precision measuring instruments or double-pointed calipers to measure, but because the stainless steel tube body may not be very flat or the surface has pits due to untreated, accurate data needs to be measured at several points. Some measurements at the mouth of the stainless steel pipe are not accurate, because the stainless steel pipe with burrs will be thicker. It is recommended to remove the burrs first and place the instrument on a flat surface for measurement.

Secondly, the label of the stainless steel tube can be visualized. The thickness is marked with the actual thickness and the thickness of the label, but the two thicknesses are different. It is recommended to buy according to the actual thickness when purchasing, so that the stainless steel pipe can also be reversed according to the actual weight. The actual thickness, if the required product thickness has special requirements, generally requires special customization.

So how should the stainless steel pipe be maintained to reduce the occurrence of corrosion and prolong its service life?

1. Cleaning the stainless steel pipe. When cleaning the surface of the stainless steel pipe, it is necessary to avoid surface scratches, avoid the use of washing liquids containing bleaching ingredients and abrasives, steel balls, grinding tools, etc. In order to remove the washing liquid, the surface must be rinsed with clean water at the end of washing.

2. Dust treatment on the surface of the stainless steel pipe. If there is dust on the surface of the stainless steel pipe and it is easy to remove the dirt, it can be washed with detergent such as water or soap, and scrubbed with alcohol or organic solvent (ether, benzene).

3. Grease removal. The grease and lubricating oil on the surface of the stainless steel pipe must be cleaned with a soft cloth, and then washed with neutral detergent or ammonia solution or special detergent.

4. Remove the attached rust. For the rust caused by the dirt on the surface of the stainless steel pipe, the common anti-rust paste on the market can be used to remove the surface dirt or rust, and then clean it with water or weak alkaline soapy water.
