Why do 304 stainless tubings need to be packed in bags?

304 is a general purpose stainless steel that is widely used to make equipment and parts that require a good combination of properties (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel.

A large number of 304 stainless tubings need to be cut. Originally, they were cut with a grinding wheel saw blade, but the accuracy was not up to the requirement. Is there any other cutting method? Large quantities of 304 stainless tubings are best cut with an automatic pipe cutting machine. The automatic pipe cutting machine is controlled by a servo motor, and the number of degrees is high, which can reach the wire level. The cutting tool used is a high-speed steel saw blade. Ordinary grinding wheel blade, high-speed steel saw blade, and vibration cutting can be used, and wire cutting with high precision can be used.

Precautions for cutting 304 stainless tubing:

1. The 304 stainless tubing should be placed horizontally, and the diameter direction should be parallel to the cutter, that is, the cutter should be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the pipe to ensure that the diameter of the stainless steel pipe is flat;

2. There must be a margin, especially for mechanical cutting. The blade has a certain width. Only by leaving enough margin can the length of the pipe be sufficient, and the nozzle of the 304 stainless tubing can be adjusted;

3. Manual lubrication should be carried out continuously during mechanical cutting to remove metal debris from the knife edge, so as not to affect the cutting effect.
